HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE
We offer packages to suit most budgets with packages from £800 to £1,600 or we can design a bespoke package just for you – please have a look at our package pricing for more info or please feel free to give us a call
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL EXPENSES
Travel is included for all weddings 60 miles from Newton Aycliffe (DL5) Travelling expenses are added for weddings outside this area. Please get in touch for more information
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER
Although I am a North East Wedding photographer I also cover the whole of the UK and abroad for destination weddings.
DO I NEED TO FEED MY PHOTOGRAPHER
Yes please!! – As the only vendor that will be with you throughout your day its important for me to stay fed and hydrated so I have the energy to carry on capturing all your special moments
HOW DO WE BOOK
The first thing to do is to check that I’m available on your wedding date. You can do this by using the contact page, phoning or dropping me an email where we can arrange a free home consultation to discuss your requirements, talk you through the packages and show you our range of stunning Wedding albums. If you like what you see the booking fee is £200 with the final balance due 6 weeks prior to your wedding.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP PHOTOS
Yes definitely, provided this is what you want – if it is, all I ask is for you to provide a small list of the family / group photos that you want, We suggest a list of no more than around 20 different group photos, so not take up to much time on your big day – around 30 minutes is ideal
HOW MANY IMAGES DO I GET
This depends on how many hours coverage you have, however I never put a limit on the number of images I shoot or provide. As a guide, a full day shoot would be between 400 – 500 images
WHAT'S THE PRE WEDDING SHOOT
The Pre wedding or engagement shoot is just that, its a mini photo shoot before your wedding. Most people don’t like or aren’t comfortable having their photo taken (including myself) so a pre wedding shoot not only gives you some beautiful photos away from your wedding it will also allow you to get more comfortable in front of the camera prior to your big day
CAN I PRINT MY PHOTOS
Yes, all of our packages include all your images on DVD at high resolution so you can print anything you want. We have a full printing, framing and canvas service (along with many other products) however as you have full print rights to your images you can choose who produces them for you. The only thing we would recommend is to use a professional print lab to ensure accurate reproduction of your images
ARE YOU INSURED
Yes – I carry £5 Million pounds of public liability insurance and £100,000 of professional indemnity insurance
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER'S BAD
As a professional wedding photographer it is my job to adapt to any given situation including our unpredictable British weather. Bad weather also requires you to adapt as well – getting outside and getting a bit wet can make for some stunning images.
ARE YOU A MEMBER OF ANY PROFESSIONAL BODIES
Yes – I am a qualified member (LMPA) of the Master photographers association.
CAN MY FAMILY VIEW MY IMAGES
Yes of course, that’s no problem at all – all of my packages include your very own password protected image gallery allowing your family and friends to not only view your images but also to order them as well – in a wide variety of options such as prints, canvases, framed prints etc.
DO YOU HAVE BACK UP EQUIPMENT
Yes!! – this is very important – I carry back up camera bodies, lenses and lighting equipment so even if my equipment fails we can carry on shooting
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE
As a professional full time wedding photographer I only use Canon’s professional range of of full frame DSLR cameras (Canon 5D markiii) and professional L series lenses. I also use a selection of professional lighting equipment to make sure you look your best
DO I GET THE COPYRIGHT
No, we follow the standard practice of the copyright staying with us – the photographer. However you do get full printing rights to all you images. So essentially you can use your images for anything other than making money from them.
WHO DESIGNS MY ALBUM
I offer a free of charge design service where we design your “perfect album.” Our initial design usually produces an album of between 40 and 60 pages. When the design is finished you will be sent a PDF proof allowing you to see exactly how your album is designed – there is of course no obligation to keep the extra pages as you can decide what to keep and what to remove.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY IMAGES
All of your images are fully edited – colour / contrast correction, spot / mark removal, cropped and basically fine tuned – this usually takes around 8 weeks however I usually post a sneak peek on Facebook before this just to give you a little taster
HOW LONG DOES MY ALBUM TAKE TO COME
Once you have approved the design of you album and paid any extra costs that are due – your design is sent straight to Italy where it is handmade to your chosen specification / design. Manufacturing time is about 6 weeks as they are all custom made by hand
